Documentation in progress

Parts and consumables notes should support clear maintenance history.

This draft guide explains how NozzleNote by BMR is intended to help users remember part replacements and consumable details without acting as a manufacturer parts catalog.

Why track parts and consumables

Parts and consumables records are planned to make maintenance history easier to interpret. If a user replaces a nozzle, tube, fan, build plate, lubricant, filter, or other item, a short note can help explain later performance changes or repeat maintenance needs.

Helpful details to record

  • What was replaced or used.
  • The date of the change.
  • Optional supplier, batch, cost, or compatibility notes when useful.
  • Why the change was made and what changed afterward.

Catalog and compatibility limits

Any future catalog language should be treated carefully. Verified catalogs are planned as optional content packs created by BMR to help users start with structured printer profiles, suggested maintenance routines, part records and guides. NozzleNote by BMR should not imply manufacturer partnership, compatibility certification, or endorsement. Users should confirm parts and consumables with their printer documentation and trusted suppliers.
