Documentation in progress

Getting started with the planned maintenance workflow.

This guide explains the intended first steps for NozzleNote by BMR at a high level. It does not include installation or download instructions because the app is still in development and is not publicly available yet.

What NozzleNote by BMR is designed to help with

NozzleNote by BMR is intended to help owners and small workshops keep structured maintenance records for 3D printers. The focus is practical record keeping: printer profiles, dated maintenance history, preventive planning, and parts notes that can be reviewed later.

It should be treated as a maintenance documentation tool, not as a replacement for manufacturer instructions, qualified repair judgment, or careful hands-on inspection.

Before using the app

  • Keep following the safety and maintenance guidance supplied with your printer.
  • Collect basic printer details, such as a nickname, model description, purchase date, and workshop notes.
  • Think about the maintenance events you already track manually, such as nozzle changes or belt checks.
  • Plan a simple backup habit for any local records once the app becomes available.

A first record should stay simple

The planned first workflow is to create one printer profile, add a small number of real maintenance notes, and use those records to understand the history of that printer over time. Avoid trying to document every possible detail on the first day.
